Belarusian MPs ready to consider any proposals to encourage business activity

MINSK (BelTA) - The Council of the Republic is ready to consider any proposals to amend legislation in order to stimulate business activity in the country, Vice Speaker of the Upper House of the Belarusian Parliament Marianna Shchetkina said in an interview with the Belarus 1 TV channel on 18 July, BelTA has learned.

“I would like to emphasize that we, as the legislative authority, are ready to consider any proposals to amend any laws which would encourage business activity of people. We are ready to discuss any proposal. This issue is of interest both to the state and people,” Marianna Shchetkina said.

“Proposals do not necessarily have to come from the government, the executive authorities or public associations. Any citizen can submit their ideas and proposals,” she noted.
