EurAsEC IPA to consider regulatory framework of Customs Union of Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan
Issues relating to the preparation of a regulatory framework of the Customs Union of Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan will highlight a session of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Eurasian Economic Community /EurAsEC/. The session will take place today in Tavricheskiy Palace in St. Petersburg.
There are more than 20 different issues on the agenda. Among them are the ones concerning bases of the EurAsEC legislation on education, a standard draft law ‘On private employment services (agencies)’, issues relating to insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners, recommendations for harmonizing the EurAsEC legislation on commodity exchanges and exchange activities.
Moreover, the participants of the session plan to discuss legal support to fight against legalization of criminal incomes and financing terrorism, as well as recommendations for harmonizing the legislation on innovations and innovation activities and the regulation of the trade in agro-industrial goods.
The EurAsEC session will also sum up the results of Russia’s two-year presidency of the organization and will elect a new chair of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly – Tajikistan. |
