Belarus, Libya to implement construction projects
MINSK, 29 September (BelTA) – Belarus and Libya have plans to implement investment projects in construction, First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vladimir Semashko stated during a festive occasion marking the 40th anniversary of the Revolution of the Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya on 28 September.
Belarus highly values the cooperation with Libya and views this country as one of the most important partners, said Vladimir Semashko. The diplomatic relations between Belarus and Libya are not that long, but they have already come to a level that is typical for a long-term cooperation.
According to Vladimir Semashko, the exchange of visits contributes to the development of the Belarusian-Libyan ties. These visits demonstrate the will of the two nations for active interaction. Following the results of the visits, the sides reached important economic agreements. In particular, Belarus and Libya are currently considering an increase in supplies of the Belarusian goods to Libya. Vladimir Semashko expressed his confidence that the Belarusian-Libyan economic links would successfully develop in future.
In his turn, Charge d'Affairs ad Interim of Libya in Belarus Khalifa Mohammed confirmed his interest in the expansion of trade cooperation between Belarus and Libya. |
