Belarus licenses pneumatic tyre export to Ukraine

MINSK, 6 August (BelTA) – Belarus has licensed the export of pneumatic tyres to Ukraine. The relevant decision is contained in Resolution No. 1018 of the Council of Ministers, BelTA learnt from the Council of Ministers’ Office.

In accordance with the document, Belarus will use licenses in its export of pneumatic tyres to Ukraine at the amount of not more than 450,000 tyres till 31 December 2009. Licenses are issued by the Trade Ministry in coordination with the Belneftekhim Concern.

The resolution has been adopted in pursuance of the agreement between the government of Belarus and the Cabinet of the Ministers of Ukraine on the terms of the export of new pneumatic tyres to Ukraine. The agreement provides a guaranteed volume of Belarusian tyres to Ukraine at the prices similar to those set on the domestic market of Belarus.
