Grodno oblast gets its own emblem and flag

By his decree the President of Belarus approved official heraldic symbols of the administrative-territorial and territorial units of Grodno oblast, BelTA has been told in the presidential press service.

Grodno oblast, the towns of Ivje, Svisloch, Skidel, the settlements of Zelva, Zheludok, Ostrina of the Schuchin region, Porozovo of the Svisloch region, Radun of the Voronovo region, Ostrovets and the Ostrovets region have got their own emblems and flags. A corresponding resolution on the heraldic symbols, their description and images have been approved as well.
