Belarus, Russia sign agreement to accelerate development of standards in industry

MINSK ( BelTA) – The National Agency for Investment and Privatization hosted a ceremony of signing an agreement between Belarus and Russia to accelerate the development of standards in industrial and manufacturing environments on 3 August, BelTA learned from the NAIP press service.

The Belarusian side was represented by NAIP director Dmitry Krasovsky, the Russian side – by executive director of the Association of Industrial Parks Denis Zhuravsky. "The agreement will accelerate the process of developing industry standards and draft regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Belarus in the field of industrial infrastructure and will expand cooperation between Russian and Belarusian organizations to launch new investment projects," the press service said.

The parties also plan to hold joint business events to develop R&D, innovative and industrial capabilities. This will enable partner organizations to exchange best practices in the development of industrial parks and strengthen international relations in the field of industrial infrastructure.
