Belarusian PM hosts government meeting in run-up to Eurasian summit in Kyrgyzstan

MINSK, (BelTA) – We need to develop a negotiating position, Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko said as he hosed a meeting in the run-up to the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Kyrgyzstan. The video commentary was posted on the government's Telegram channel, BelTA has learned.

Roman Golovchenko noted that the agenda includes seven items. Five will be discussed during a face-to-face meeting and two – a meeting with the participation of delegations. "The issues are complex. A detailed discussion is expected. Today we need to compare notes taking into account the opinions of our colleagues, and to develop a Belarusian negotiating position on issues that directly affect the interests of the Belarusian economy," the prime minister addressed the participants of the meeting.

The meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council with the participation of the heads of government of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union will be held in person in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan on 25-26 August.
