Draft protocol amending EAEU Treaty approved

MINSK ( BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 166 on 18 May, approving a draft protocol amending the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) of 29 May 2014 as a basis for negotiations, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The amendments concern the provision of financial assistance for the implementation of joint cooperative projects by the EAEU member states in agricultural industries.

The Agriculture and Food Ministry has been authorized to conduct negotiations on the draft protocol.
