Russia ratifies agreement on international road transport with Belarus

BelTA) – Russia has completed the ratification of the Belarusian-Russian intergovernmental agreement on international road transport, BelTA learned.
On 27 March the Federation Council, Russia’s upper house of the parliament, approved the law following its ratification by the State Duma of Russia on 25 March. Belarus completed the ratification procedures on the document on 6 January 2024.
The agreement regulates the transportation of passengers and cargo across the territories of Belarus and Russia by Belarusian and Russian business entities. The Agreement shall apply to the carriage of goods and passengers by road between the territories of the parties, in transit through their territories and to/from third countries and to cabotage road transport of goods.
