New environmental permits approved

According to Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus of 17 November 2011 No 528 ‘On complex environmental permits’, legal persons and individual entrepreneurs that exploit objects affecting the environment which are indicated in the Annex to the Edict may obtain complex environmental permits from 1 January 2012. From 1 January 2016 complex environment permits will become compulsory. The complex environment permits will be issued by the Ministry of Natural Resources free of charge for a term of 5 to 10 years. The Edict enters into force from 1 January 2012.
