President set down guidelines for further improvement of state administration

Guidelines for further development of efficiency of state administration in providing services to the public were set down by the Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus of 23 March 2015 No 135 that amended Directive No.2 of 26 December 2006 replacing it by the new text. The new version of the Directive provides for a series of measures aimed at raising the efficiency of state authorities in dealing with the applications of citizens and performing administrative procedures for the public. Such measures include, in particular, simplifying formalities for citizens applying for administrative procedures and expanding the sphere of use of electronic documents in interaction between the public and state bodies.

The Edict was officially published in Russian on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus on 25 March 2015 and entered into force after its official publication.
