Belarus and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development to cooperate in banking sphere

The Resolution Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of 12 May 2015 No 404 has approved the Memorandum between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in respect of the privatization of Belinvestbank. The Memorandum envisages the cooperation of the parties in attracting a leading reputable privately owned bank as a strategic investor for privatization of Belinvestbank before 1 January 2020.

The Resolution was officially published in Russian on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus on 15 May 2015 and entered into force from the day of its adoption.
