Sports institutions exempted from tax on profit for three years

Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus of 12 December 2017 No 443 “On exemption from the tax on profit” provides that profit of sports institutions, including sport-training institutions, is exempted from the tax on profit if those monetary sums are used for supporting activity of sports institutions according to their statutory objectives.

The Edict was officially published in Russian on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus on 14 December 2017, enters into force from 1 January 2018 and will remain in effect until 1 January 2021.
