Bill on self-regulatory organizations up for first reading in Belarus parliament

MINSK (BelTA) – The House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus of the seventh convocation is set to hold a meeting of its fourth session on 19 November, BelTA learned from the press service of the House of Representatives.

Lawmakers will give the first reading to the bills “On self-regulatory organizations”, “On Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Belarus on Consumer Cooperation (consumer societies, their unions)”, and “On Amendments to the Law” (technical regulation and energy conservation).

The second reading is expected for the draft laws “On Amendments to the Laws on Healthcare and Psychological Assistance”, “On Amendments to the Laws” (remuneration of employees of budgetary organizations), “On Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Belarus on the Procedure and Conditions of Sending Citizens to Occupational Therapy Rehabilitation Centers and Conditions of Staying There”, “On Amendments to the Laws” (bringing them into conformity with the Housing Code of the Republic of Belarus and other legislative acts), and “On Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Belarus on the Citizenship of the Republic of Belarus”.

MPs are also expected to ratify the following international agreements: “On the ratification of international agreements in the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union” and “On the ratification of protocol between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of Ukraine on the amendments and additions to the agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of Ukraine on international diplomatic relations of 17 December 1992”.
