Plans to pass 28 draft laws in Belarus in 2022

MINSK ( BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 508 “On the approval of the plan of preparation of draft legal acts in 2022” on 23 December, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The plan was developed taking into account the real demand of the society for the regulation of corresponding relations, the priority of their legal regulation. Special attention was drawn to the observation of systemic requirements and the stability of legal regulation.

Plans have been made to prepare 28 draft laws in 2022. These include brand-new laws (“On the Belarusian People's Congress”, “On insurance activities”, “On leasing operations”, “On ensuring security in the nuclear energy industry”), updated and amended documents. The government will submit 21 draft laws to the parliament.

Besides, plans have been made to prepare a concept of the Healthcare Code.

In accordance with the plan, five decrees of the President of the Republic of Belarus, including the one on cybersecurity, will be prepared, too.
