Belarusian MPs to hold Historical Memory conference in June

BelTA) – The international conference Historical Memory: Victory Won Through Unity will be held in June. The event will be timed to the Year of Historical Memory in Belarus, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko said at a meeting of the Council of the House of Representatives in Minsk on 8 February, BelTA has learned.
“The international conference Historical Memory: Victory Won Through Unity timed to the Year of Historical Memory in Belarus will take place in June. This is a good opportunity to discuss the events significant for our country and to remind the society about the price paid by our ancestors for the independence and sovereignty of Belarus. The Standing Committee on Human Rights, National Relations and Mass Media should be very attentive to the circle of invitees and fill this event with real content,” said Vladimir Andreichenko.
