Belarus to raise export duties on oil, petroleum products on 1 April

MINSK ( BelTA) – On 1 April 2022 Belarus will increase export duties on oil and petroleum products exported outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The Council of Ministers issued relevant Resolution No. 177 on 28 March 2022, BelTA learned from the National Legal Information Portal.

In line with the document, the export duty on crude oil, furnace oil, oil bitumen, petrolatum, paraffin and waste oils will be $61.2 per tonne ($58.3 previously). The export duty on straight-run gasoline was set at $33.6 per tonne ($32 previously). The export duty on commercial gasoline, diesel fuel, light and middle distillates, benzene, toluene, xylene, lubricants will make up $18.3 per tonne ($17.4 previously).
