Belarus expands export promotion instruments

BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 16 to make adjustments to Decree No. 412 of 14 November 2019 “On Export Promotion” on 24 January 2023, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The document expands the possibility of reimbursing part of the conformity assessment costs not only for technical but also for other mandatory requirements when selling goods in certain countries. These are veterinary and phytosanitary requirements, requirements for agricultural, food, cosmetic products (Halal, Kosher, Kashrut, Certificate of Health and others).
The adoption of the decree will contribute to the expansion of available tools of financial support for export and facilitate access of Belarusian products to promising markets, including far-abroad countries (China, UAE, Indonesia, others).
