Lukashenko: Our task is to multiply potential and glory of Belarus through dialogue, understanding

BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulated his compatriots on the People's Unity Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"This holiday turns us to a significant date, which has become the most important milestone in the history of the Belarusian nation that, having gone through pain and trials, gained statehood, sovereignty and world recognition," the head of state said. “The events of 17 September 1939 laid a solid foundation for the achievements and successes of modern Belarus, predetermined its further path of development. Our solidarity is based on loyalty to the memory of our ancestors, rich cultural heritage, perseverance and hard work, and the traditional values that we all share."
Aleksandr Lukashenko also emphasized: "Belarusians have learned to be together not only in struggle but also in creative work, aspirations and achievement of goals. Our common task is to multiply the potential and glory of our land through dialogue and mutual understanding, to preserve its identity and international authority."
"May peace and harmony reign in every family, and may unity and patriotism always be a reliable foundation to a stronger Fatherland. I wish you all good health, happiness and prosperity," the Belarusian president said in his felicitation message.
