62 outstanding Belarusians awarded

BelTA) – Government awards have been bestowed upon 62 representatives of various spheres. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed relevant decree No.213 on 23 May, BelTA has learned.
Orders, medals, and honorary titles have been awarded in recognition of many years of fruitful work, high professionalism, exemplary execution of official duties, courage and selflessness demonstrated in the course of liquidating emergencies, in recognition of accomplishments in the course of military service and the guarding of the state border, forensic examination activities, a significant personal contribution to the effective realization of strategic projects, the enhancement of constitutional legitimacy, protection of fauna and flora, the development of the state information policy, the budget and financial system, civil aviation, machine building, manufacturing sector, processing industry, housing and utilities industry, agriculture, excellent achievements in the spheres of social protection of the population, education, healthcare, science, culture, and sport.
Orders of the Fatherland, 3rd Class have been bestowed upon Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian People’s Congress Aleksandr Kosinets and Head of the Belarus President Property Management Directorate Yuri Nazarov.
Medals have been bestowed upon military personnel of the 19th border service group: Deputy Chief Anatoly Peshko, Chief of the Ideology Department Aleksei Smagin and Chief of the Fire Prevention and Military Service Safety Service Dmitry Demeshko have been awarded Medals for Excellence in Military Service; Senior Aide to the Commandant of the Border Command Post Yevgeny Zhukovsky and Senior Technician of a border service station Vadim Mishchenko have been awarded Medals for Excellence in the State Border Protection.
Medals for Excellence in the Prevention and Mitigation of Emergencies have been bestowed upon Senior Instructor-Rescue Worker of Firefighting, Emergency Response Station No.2 of the Mogilev city branch of the Emergencies Ministry Artyom Zyabkin, First Deputy Chief of the Grodno Oblast branch of the Emergencies Ministry Sergei Leonov, and Master-Rescue Worker of Firefighting, Emergency Response Station No.1 of the Kostyukovichi District branch of the Emergencies Ministry Anton Rukhmankov.
Awardees of the Medals for Labor Merits include Chief Nurse of the Minsk Oblast Children's Clinical Hospital Svetlana Andrushko, Head of the Main State Treasury of the Finance Ministry Sergei Kachan, Leading Photo Correspondent of the Belarus President News Department of the Belarusian Telegraph Agency Nikolai Petrov, and Director of the Center for LED and Optoelectronic Technologies of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Yuri Trofimov.
Awardees of the Medals of Francysk Skaryna include Deputy Head of the Belarus President News Department of the Belarusian Telegraph Agency Yevgeny Vanshin, Director of the Center for System Analysis and Strategic Research of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Valery Goncharov, Leading Stage Master of the Gomel State Puppet Theater Tamara Goryacheva, and Shop Teacher with Secondary School No.16 of Pinsk Andrey Tarelkin.
Medals for Impeccable Service, 3rd Class have been bestowed upon Deputy Office Head, Head of the International Relations and Comparative Legislation Analysis Department of the Legal Review Office of the Secretariat of the Constitutional Court Lyudmila Murashko and Head of the Secretariat of the Constitutional Court Vasily Seledevsky.
The decree has also bestowed a number of honorary titles. Deputy Director for Science and Innovations at ZAO Holography Industry Piotr Moiseyenko was awarded the title Honored Inventor of the Republic of Belarus. Deputy Chairwoman of the Labor, Employment and Social Protection Committee of the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee Vera Astapenko was awarded the title Honored Worker of Social Protection Sector of the Republic of Belarus. Director General of OAO Smolevichi-Broiler Sergei Ramchenko was awarded the title Honored Worker of Agriculture of Belarus. Judge of the Constitutional Court Leonid Ryabtsev was awarded the title Honored Lawyer of the Republic of Belarus. Head of the Nervous System Clinical Pathophysiology Laboratory of the Republican Applied Science Center for Neurology and Neurosurgery Natalya Nechipurenko and First Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Sergei Chizhik became Honored Scientists of Belarus. Director of Baranovichi State College of Technology and Design Svetlana Shishina and Head of the Freight Work and Commercial Work Management Department of Belarusian State University of Transport Ivan Yelovoi became Honored Workers of Education of Belarus.
The head of state also signed an executive order to grant presidential commendations.
Workers of the confectionery factory Spartak have been commended in recognition of significant accomplishments in developing the processing industry. For many years of fruitful work in the emergency response service, high professionalism, significant accomplishments in professional activities presidential commendations have been granted to Chief of the Dokshitsy District branch of the Emergencies Ministry Valentin Borovikov and First Deputy Chief of the Gomel Oblast branch of the Emergencies Ministry Aleksandr Merkulov.
The awardees also include Director of the Republican Rehabilitation Center for Disabled Children Lyudmila Kondrashova. She is commended for many years of fruitful work, a significant personal contribution to the rehabilitation and social adaption of children with disabilities.
Judge of the Constitutional Court Sergei Chigrinov has been awarded a presidential commendation for many years of fruitful work, high professionalism, a significant personal contribution to the improvement of the legal system and the strengthening of constitutional legitimacy. A presidential commendation was also awarded to Deputy Director of the Belarusian Institute for Strategic Research (BISR) Vitaly Stakhovsky in recognition of diligent fruitful work, high professionalism, a significant personal contribution to the development of expert diplomacy, protection of national interests at international platforms.
