Belarus confirms interest in closer cooperation with Pakistan
MINSK, 23 December (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan (on concurrent) Viktor Rybak handed over credentials to President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.
During a conversation with the President of Pakistan, the Belarusian diplomat confirmed the interest of Belarus in expanding bilateral cooperation with Pakistan and stepping up collaboration on the international arena.
Asif Ali Zardari thanked the Belarusian diplomat for constructive approach to the development of Belarus-Pakistan relations and expressed hope for closer bilateral ties between Belarus and Pakistan.
