Kazakhstan shows interest in Belarusian assembly plants

ASTANA, 21 November (BelTA) – Kazakhstan is interested in setting up Belarusian assembly plants on its territory, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov told BelTA.

In his words, it is advantageous for Kazakhstan to assembly Belarusian agricultural equipment which is highly competitive today. Kazakhstan, in turn, is ready to supply Belarus with energy resources, he said.

According to the Premier, the documents signed in Moscow on 18 November and further economic integration between Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan will improve competitive ability of the three countries on the global market. Kazakhstan and Belarus will be able to intensify their trade on the Russian market and make their economies more attractive for investment.
