Belarus, Azerbaijan have potential for all-round cooperation

BAKU, 15 November (BelTA-AzerTAc) – Belarus and Azerbaijan have great opportunities to develop all-round relations, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko who is leading the Belarusian delegation to Azerbaijan told media on 15 November.

At Heydar Aliyev International Airport the Belarusian delegation has been met by First Deputy Chairman of Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ziyafet Askerov and other officials.

Vladimir Andreichenko told the press that Belarus and Azerbaijan are friendly and brotherly nations. Friendly relations between the two presidents as well as the negotiations held during their mutual visits coupled with the number of agreements signed demonstrate a wide potential for all-round cooperation.

The Belarusian representatives are in Baku to hold consultations on further expansion of inter-parliamentary relations. The program of the visit will include meetings with the Cabinet of Ministers and the Parliament of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The delegation of the National Assembly will lay wreaths at the tomb of the Azerbaijani national leader Heydar Aliyev.

The visit will complete on 17 November.
