Belarus urges security of its embassy in Kyrgyzstan

MINSK, 28 August (BelTA) – Kazakhstan’s Charge d’Affaires ad Interim in Belarus has been called to the Foreign Ministry of Belarus in view of the accident at the Belarusian embassy in Bishkek, Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry of Belarus Andrei Savinykh told BelTA.

“The Charge d’Affaires of Kazakhstan has been warned about inadmissibility of any provocations threatening the activity of the Belarusian embassy and its personnel,” Andrei Savinykh said.

Belarus demanded high security of its embassy.

An unauthorized protest was staged near the Belarusian embassy in Kyrgyzstan early on 28 August. Its participants made an attempt to break into the compound, threw stones into the windows, broke glass at the information stands and flowerpots.
