Trade Policy Review of Belarus to be presented before CIS Economic Council 14 December

MINSK, 6 December (BelTA) - Trade Policy Review of Belarus will be presented at the 56th meeting of the CIS Economic Council to be held in Moscow on 14 December, spokesperson for the Belarusian Foreign Ministry Andrei Savinykh told a press briefing.

The Belarusian delegation will be headed by First Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Mikhnevich.

Members of the CIS Economic Council will consider the execution of the decision of the CIS Council of Heads of Government to develop a coherent tariff policy in railway transport.

The meeting will also examine the draft concept on anti-terrorist activities in railway transport.

According to Andrei Savinykh, the CIS Economic Council will also discuss the participation of Uzbekistan in the agreement on free trade area as of 18 October 2011.

The financial and organizational matters relating to the activities of the CIS will be also on the agenda.
