Belarusian beer output up 44.3% in January
MINSK, 24 February (BelTA) – In January 2012 Belarusian breweries produced 3,331 million decaliters of beer, up 44.3% on the same time last year, BelTA learnt from Belgospishcheprom.
Krinitsa Brewery increased its output up 87.5% to 917,600 decaliters of beer. Beer production was also up at Olivariya Brewery (59.2% to 761,000 decaliters), Lidskoye Pivo (20.1% to 533,800 decaliters), Brestkoye Pivo (17.4% to 245,000), Heineken Breweries (17.2% to 781,700) and Rechitsapivo (5 times to 92,700).
Beer exports were on the rise as well. In January 2012 a total of 306,900 decaliters of beer were delivered outside the country, up 11.2% from the same month last year.
In 2011 Belarusian breweries produced 46.960 million decaliters of beer, up 18.2% from 2010.
