PM on inspection visit to Gorki, host of Dazhynki 2012 festival

GORKI DISTRICT, 27 July (BelTA) – The renovated Pronya Hotel opened in the town of Gorki, the host of the Dazhynki harvest festival 2012. The official ceremony was attended by the chairman of the national organizing committee for the festival, Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich.

The Prime Minister was given a guided tour of the hotel, and talked with the staff.

After renovations the number of rooms at the Pronya Hotel increased to 52 rooms for 73 guests. The hotel has a billiards room, a cafe, provides Internet access. The hotel will soon go online offering booking via the Internet. According to the hotel director Svetlana Bazekina, the hotel is looking to get the category of "three stars".

Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich continues to inspect how the town of Gorki is gearing up for the festival. More than 200 facilities are expected to be reconstructed in the town and the district as part of these preparations.
