Minsk-City development project to go out to tender

MINSK, 25 July (BelTA) – The Minsk authorities will seek bids to implement the Minsk-City development project, Deputy Chairperson of the Minsk City Council Zhanna Birich told a press conference.

The Minsk City Council is currently working on the terms of the tender. There are potential investors. Inteco Group is regarded as the primary one. The project presentation will take place at an investment forum due in Minsk in November this year. Minsk showcased its investment projects at forums in other countries.

In turn, the chairman of the construction and investments committee of the Minsk City Council, Alexander Dominikan, informed that new investors of the Minsk-City development project are welcome to prepare their architectural concept of the project.

The status of implementation of the Minsk City Business Center development project was discussed in a meeting in the President’s Office on 16 February. A decision was taken to look for a new investor. It was noted that the project customer COOO Minsk-City, the founder of which is Itera Group, was implementing the project slowly. Since the inception of the project as little as 0.5% of the Br25.6 trillion of investments was utilized.

The Minsk-City project stipulates for the construction of a multifunctional complex in the Belarusian capital. It will cover 318 hectares and will house a residential neighborhood, commercial real estate and administrative buildings.
