Belarus’ foreign trade surplus over $3bn in January-May
MINSK, 12 July (BelTA) - Belarus’ foreign trade surplus totaled $3.04 billion in January-May 2012, including $675 million in May, BelTA learnt from the National Statistics Committee.
Belarus had a foreign trade deficit of $2.6 billion in January-May 2011.
Foreign trade exceeded $43.7 billion in January-May 2012, up 18.8% as against the same period last year. Export reached $23.378 billion (up 34.3%) and import stood at $20.3 billion (up 4.9%).
