Belarus to build strong economic ties with Latin America

HAVANA, 26 June (BelTA) – Belarus’ President Alexander Lukashenko gave a short interview to Cuban mass media ahead of his flight to Venezuela, BelTA learnt.

Belarus’ President emphasized that the parties signed all the documents they planned to sign. “As usual, everything goes as planned between me and Raul Castro,” Alexander Lukashenko noted.

The head of state touched upon his forthcoming visit to Venezuela. In particular, he noted that Belarus intends to build “strong economic ties with Latin American countries”.

Chairman of the State Council and the Council of Ministers of Cuba Raul Castro Ruz attended the farewell ceremony at the airport and expressed great satisfaction with the outcome of the negotiations and Alexander Lukashenko’s visit to Cuba.
