Belarus PM to attend CIS Council of Heads of Government meeting

MINSK, 29 May (BelTA) – Belarus Premier Mikhail Myasnikovich has left today for Ashgabat to partake in the CIS Council of Heads of Government meeting, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian government.

While in Turkmenistan the Belarusian Prime Minister is expected to hold a number of bilateral and multilateral meetings.

On 30 May Mikhail Myasnikovich will attend the session of the CIS Council of Heads of Government. The agenda of the meeting includes 30 issues. The heads of government are expected to consider a concept to liberate the CIS market of financial services. Special attention will be paid to the agreement on cooperation in the integrated currency market. The meeting participants are also expected to adopt a strategy for physical education and sports development through 2020 and an agreement on the Tourism Council. Among other things the CIS prime ministers are set to adopt a 2012-2013 action plan to implement an international youth cooperation strategy.
