Belarus might use Czechia’s expertise to upgrade National Airport Minsk

MINSK, 4 May (BelTA) – Expertise and knowledge of the Czech Republic might be employed to upgrade the National Airport Minsk, Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Alexander Gurianov said reviewing the recent Minsk session of the Belarus-Czechia mixed commission for economic, industrial and sci-tech cooperation, BelTA has learnt.

“This might be promising. We might use Czechia’s expertise,” Alexander Gurianov said.

He noted that a day before Minsk had played host to the Belarus-Czechia task group on cooperation in transport. The task group discussed ways to expand cooperation in automobile and railway transport and aviation.

The parties agreed completely on cooperation in aviation. The Czech delegation suggested elaborating a detailed development forecast of the National Airport Minsk that will become an additional guarantee for the projects implemented in the airport.
