Belarusian business delegation to visit Ukraine

MINSK, 20 November (BelTA) – The Minsk Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) is organizing a visit of Belarusian businessmen to the Ukrainian city of Dnepropetrovsk on 26-29 November, BelTA learnt from the BCCI Minsk Office.

The visit aims to expand markets for Belarusian products, find new business partners and strengthen existing business contacts, raise investment and expand mutually beneficial cooperation.

The Belarusian businessmen are set to hold business talks with representatives of Ukrainian enterprises, discuss cooperation in various industries, export and import of goods, joint ventures and investment. The guests are scheduled to visit the major enterprises of the region and meet with representatives of ministries and departments.

Dnepropetrovsk is one of the largest industrial, economic and transportation centers of Ukraine. The major industries in the region are the steel industry and also food and construction industries, banking and trade. The electric power engineering in the city is represented by the Pridneprovskaya heat power plant.

The visit is organized jointly with the Dnepropetrovsk Chamber of Commerce.
