Lukashenko urges Minsk metro construction company to export more services

MINSK, 6 November (BelTA) – The Minsk metro construction company Minskmetrostroy should be preserved and developed in the future for the sake of exporting construction services. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko made the relevant statement on 6 November, BelTA has learned.

“The metro construction company should be preserved also because we need to build more. But it is not the most important thing. If we lose the metro construction school, we will not be able to recreate it,” believes the head of state.

The ability to export construction services, help build metro lines in other countries is one of the reasons to preserve the metro construction industry.

Alexander Lukashenko remarked that once the construction of metro lines is over in Belarus, the company should be preserved and should even grow larger. For example, Moscow is now ready to use services of the Belarusian metro construction company. This is why the market of these services should be penetrated without hesitation, said Alexander Lukashenko.

Alexander Lukashenko liked the three new stations of the first metro line that he inaugurated on 6 November. The stations had been finalized beautifully, with money spent wisely. “It is good that it was done frugally,” said the President. “No need to build palaces. Everything should be functional here. Cleanliness and order are the most important things. No need for superfluities. Long-lasting materials should be used”.
