Rusetsky elected Council of Republic Vice Chairman
MINSK, 19 October (BelTA) – Anatoly Rusetsky was elected Vice Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the fifth convocation on 19 October, BelTA has learnt.
Anatoly Rusetsky is Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences (since 2010).
He attended the Belarusian Polytechnical Institute. Anatoly Rusetsky served as Industry Minister from 2003 to 2009. In December 2009 he was named director of the Lykov Institute of Heat and Mass Transfer.
Anatoly Rusetsky is a Doctor of Engineering Science. He is an author of 70 scholarly works, 12 copyright certificates, a holder of the State Award of the Republic of Belarus in Science.
