MINSK, 26 September (BelTA) – For Belarus it is of crucial importance not only to preserve the current relations with China, but considerably expand the bilateral cooperation in economy, science, culture and education, Deputy Premier, Chairman of the Belarus-China Friendship Society Anatoly Tozik said in a solemn meeting at the Minsk House of Friendship on 25 September to mark the 63rd anniversary of the foundation of the People’s Republic of China.

“We are becoming strategic partners both in politics and economy. The countries exchange regular visits and working meetings at every level. The two countries have witnessed a breakthrough in bilateral investment cooperation in the recent years,” the Vice Premier said.

In 2012 Belarus and China marked the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations.
