Cuba submits draft intergovernmental agreement on trade with Belarus
MINSK, 23 April (BelTA) – Cuba has submitted for Belarus’ consideration a draft intergovernmental agreement on trade, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Cuba Vladimir Astapenko met with First Deputy Minister for Foreign Trade and Investment of Cuba Orlando Hernandez Guillen. “The Cuban side confirmed their interest in the proposal on mutual trade and submitted for Belarus’ consideration the relevant draft intergovernmental agreement,” the Foreign Ministry said.
The parties also discussed the results of the bilateral trade and economic cooperation in 2012, outlined concrete measures for its development in the near term.
