Belarus delegation to meet with Vietnamese, Laos officials
MINSK, 4 April (BelTA) – The Belarusian delegation led by Economy Minister Nikolai Snopkov is on a visit to the countries of Southeast Asia, spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Andrei Savinykh told a briefing on 4 April, BelTA has learned.
The delegation is on a visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Laos People’s Democratic Republic on 2-10 April. “As part of the visit members of the delegation are expected to hold meetings in the government of Vietnam and the President Administration of Laos, ministers of industry and trade, other officials,” Andrei Savinykh said. The sides will also discuss trade and economic cooperation development, the current state and prospects of implementing joint projects in industrial cooperation, geological exploration, development of the commodity distribution network and setting up service companies. Special attention will be drawn to new cooperation forms.
The delegation includes Deputy Foreign Minister Valentin Rybakov, Deputy Industry Minister Alexander Ogorodnikov, First Deputy Chairman of the State Science and Technologies Committee Leonid Demidov, First Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian food industry concern Belgospishcheprom Genrikh Chernyak. The delegation also comprises heads of Belgorkhimprom, Belshina, Belbakaleya, Belarusian Potash Company, Promagroleasing, other Belarusian companies and organizations.
