Lukashenko: Vocational training is among Belarus’ priorities
MINSK, 3 April (BelTA) – President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to participants of the international conference “Vocational education in the context of global challenges”, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian head of state.
“Advanced, well-trained and dedicated specialists are essential for successful modernization of the country and fulfillment of new socioeconomic targets. Therefore, training of qualified workers and specialists has always been and remains a priority for Belarus. We are proud that we managed to retain and strengthen the national vocational education system and improve it taking into consideration the needs of sovereign Belarus,” the head of state said.
Alexander Lukashenko expressed confidence that Belarus’ practices will be of interest for other countries and that a committed dialogue of educators, scientists and experts will help find solutions to topical issues related to personnel training in various industries for sustainable development of the state.
