Brazil interested in expanding cooperation with Belneftekhim

MINSK, 1 August (BelTA) – Brazilian businessmen would like to expand cooperation with Belneftekhim Group. Plans to increase supply and logistics schemes of transportation of Belarusian products to Brazil, and also the issues of setting joint ventures were discussed in a meeting between a Belarusian delegation headed by Chairperson of Belneftekhim Igor Zhilin and Brazil’s Minister of Mines and Energy Edison Lobao and representatives of the Brazilian business community in Brazil on 30 July, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.

The Belarusian delegation included heads of the enterprises that make of Belneftekhim.

Igor Zhilin informed the Brazilian side of the export potential of Belneftekhim enterprises and the range of products.

“The parties reached an agreement on strengthening mutually beneficial contacts and developing joint projects in the energy, petrochemical and oil production sectors," the Foreign Ministry said.
