Iran ready to host Belarus’ President

MINSK, 5 February (BelTA) – Iran is ready to welcome the President of Belarus, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran to Belarus Mohammad Reza Sabouri told a press conference in Minsk on 5 February, BelTA has learnt.

He added that Iran invited Alexander Lukashenko several times to pay a visit. “If I meet with him (the President of Belarus – BelTA’s note), I will definitely ask him whether he has plans to visit our country this year. We are ready to welcome Mr Lukashenko,” the diplomat said.
