Dutch agricultural delegation to visit Belarus

MINSK, 21 January (BelTA) – Representatives of Dutch companies plan to visit Belarus this year to discuss the possibility of introducing advanced Dutch technologies in cattle breeding, BelTA learnt from the Embassy of Belarus to the Netherlands.

According to the diplomatic mission, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the Netherlands Elena Gritsenko visited Gelderland Province as part of the Belarusian-Dutch agreements on development of cooperation in the agriculture.

The Ambassador met with representatives of the Dutch companies specializing in the production and processing of meat products, milk substitute for feeding young animals and growing calves.

A preliminary agreement was reached to organize a visit of representatives of Dutch companies to Belarus in the first half of 2013 to discuss promising areas of cooperation in the implementation of Dutch advanced technologies in beef husbandry in Belarus.
