BelAZ to ship dump trucks to India in 2013

MINSK, 16 January (BelTA) – BelAZ is set to ship a batch of dump trucks to India by the end of 2013, the company told BelTA.

The company signed a contract on the delivery of ten dump trucks BelAZ 75302 with the payload capacity of 190 tonnes to the dealer of the Belarusian company – Enrika Trades and Services Private Limited. Apart from this, BelAZ continues its competition in the tender held by India’s largest coal-mining company Coal India on the delivery of 77 dump trucks with the 190-tonne load-carrying capacity.

BelAZ 75302 dump truck is designed to transport rock mass at the deposits under development. The vehicle can be used in the construction of large industrial and hydraulic facilities, highways as well as in the processing industry.

Dump truck BelAZ 75135 with the total carrying capacity of 110 tonnes was displayed at the IITF 2012 in New Delhi in November 2012. Indian mining companies showed great interest in BelAZ products. Enrika Trades and Services Private Limited started searching for potential clients for the Belarusian company on the Indian market. Besides, the parties have signed an action plan for the development of the joint Belarusian-Indian company Belaz Enrika Mining Equipments Services Private Limited for 2012-2018.

Founded in September 1948, the Zhodino-based mechanical engineering company Belarusian Autoworks (BelAZ) was incorporated into a joint-stock company in 2010. The company is part of the system of enterprises of the Belarusian Industry Ministry. BelAZ offers rock haulers, frontal wheeled loaders and bulldozers, tow trucks, special vehicles for underground operations, heavy-duty trucks for metallurgy industry, and other specialized vehicles. BelAZ accounts for a third of the global market of rock haulers.
