Joint Belarusian-Russian student brigades to begin work in Belarus 1 July

MINSK, 1 July (BelTA) - Joint Belarusian-Russian student summer work brigades will begin working in Belarus on 1 July, BelTA learnt from Deputy Education Minister of Belarus Viktor Yakzhik.

According to Viktor Yakzhik, the student work brigades will be working both in Belarus and Russia. The Russian brigades will include students from the cities of Perm and Obninsk and from Astrakhan Oblast. Students from Russia and Belarus are set to work in agricultural brigades in Vitebsk and Grodno Oblasts and at building sites in Grodno Oblast and Minsk.

The most important sites where the joint Belarusian-Russian student brigades will work are the Belarusian nuclear power plant in Ostrovets and a highway in Russia’s Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District.
