Belarus, Azerbaijan discuss cooperation in education

MINSK, 30 October (BelTA) – Belarus and Azerbaijan have discussed cooperation in the field of education, BelTA learnt from the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.

Belarus’ Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan Nikolai Patskevich and Azerbaijani Minister of Education Mikayil Jabbarov have talked over the opening of the first joint resource centers in Azerbaijan to provide vocational training in construction and machine building.

The officials also touched upon the establishment of direct ties between two countries’ universities and the opportunity for Azerbaijani youth to receive education in Belarus.
