Minsk to host Belarus-Poland-Spain business forum 18 September

MINSK, 16 September (BelTA) – Belarus, Poland and Spain will hold a business forum and a business matchmaking session in Minsk on 18 September, BelTA learnt from the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The delegation from Poland and Spain will include representatives of 14 companies (eight from Poland and six from Spain). Among them is Cemex Polska Sp. Z o.o., the world’s leader in the production and sales of construction materials such as cement, ready-mix concrete as well as nonmetallic construction materials. The company sells into Russia and seeks partners for long-term cooperation among Belarusian construction companies manufacturing similar goods for joint production or sales of construction materials on the Belarusian market. Spain’s Airbus Military/EADS PZL is Europe’s aviation industrial flagship that unites four leaders of the aviation market Airbus, Astrium, Cassidian and Eurocopter. Representatives of this company will arrive in Minsk to hold negotiations with Belarusian companies interested in their services and aviation products.

Poland’s Estudios Lamela S.L.P shows interest in cooperation with Belarusian construction and engineering companies engaged in designing as well as state-run organizations in charge of designing various buildings and facilities, while Spain’s Fibrasan is ready to establish joint work with fire engineering, oil producers and construction companies.

The delegation of Polish and Spanish businessmen intends to conduct bilateral talks with Belarusian companies in the following areas: construction, architectural designing, production of construction materials, lease and sales of automobile, industrial machinery and equipment, production of goods from glass fiber, fuel briquettes, household and industrial chemistry, IT consulting in the banking area, production and maintenance of civil and military aircraft, medical services.

The events are organized by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Polish-Spanish Chamber of Commerce.
