Belarus President makes new appointments
MINSK (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has made new appointments, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The head of state appointed:
Sergei Chichuk - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Moldova;
Alexander Ponomarev - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on concurrent.
The President also approved the appointment of:
Alexander Kokhan as Chairman of the Bragin District Executive Committee;
Mikhail Komok as Chairman of the Lelchitsy District Executive Committee;
Viktor Doroshevich as Chairman of the Svetlogorsk District Executive Committee;
Vladimir Kravchenko as Chairman of the Chechersk District Executive Committee;
Sergei Ignatenko as Chairman of the Bykhov District Executive Committee;
Vladimir Tsarikov as Chairman of the Glusk District Executive Committee;
Sergei Demidenko as Chairman of the Khotimsk District Executive Committee;
Anna Matelskaya as Head of the Tsentralny District Administration of Minsk;
Igor Letov as Director General of OAO Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant;
Anatoly Shchastny as Rector of the Vitebsk State Medical University;
Oleg Poskrobko as First Deputy Housing and Utilities Minister;
Dmitry Korchik as Deputy Industry Minister;
Vasily Pivovar as Deputy Agriculture and Food Minister – Director of the Veterinary and Food Control Department;
Mikhail Portnoy as Deputy Sport and Tourism Minister;
Sergei Zadiran as Deputy Justice Minister;
Andrei Kosovsky as First Deputy Chairman of the State Science and Technology Committee;
Alexander Slobodchuk as Head of the Secretariat of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus.
