Agreement on EEU gas and oil forecast balances approved in Belarus

MINSK (BelTA) The Council of Ministers has approved an agreement on the formation of indicative (forecast) balances of gas, oil and oil products in the Eurasian Economic Union which was signed in Moscow on 22 April 2016. This is envisaged in corresponding resolution No. 553 of 14 July 2016, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been instructed to send a notification on the fulfillment of internal procedures for the enforcement of this agreement in Belarus.

Forecast balances of gas, oil and oil products in the EEU will be developed and harmonized to enhance the aggregate energy potential of the member states and to optimize interstate supplies of energy resources.
