MINSK (
BelTA) – Prime Minister of Belarus Aleksandr Turchin and Head of Russia’s Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov have discussed issues on the bilateral agenda over a luncheon, BelTA learned from the government press service.
“When special friendly relations are at the heart of everything, even an official agenda becomes something unique. That is precisely what explains the chosen format of today’s meeting,” the government press service noted.
The meeting continued the dialogue launched at the level of the Belarusian president and the head of Tatarstan, and further cemented Tatarstan’s status as one of Belarus’ key partners among the regions of the Russian Federation. Particular attention was paid to industrial cooperation and joint projects.
As a result of the meeting, agreements were reached on further deepening interaction in priority areas of the bilateral agenda.
With each passing year, the cooperation between Belarus and Tatarstan gains ever deeper practical substance, forming a solid foundation for the development of bilateral relations. The potential for Belarus Tatarstan cooperation is immense. At the same time, it is important to find new incentives for deepening integration processes and maintaining the overall successful momentum.
Belarus is open to discussing the full range of promising areas for joint work, aimed at the long term and mutually beneficial outcomes. The number one task is to work out new agreements, thereby opening a new stage in the implementation of joint projects.
