MINSK (
BelTA) – Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin met with Kyrgyzstan’s President Sadyr Japarov during his official visit to Kyrgyzstan on 5 June, BelTA has learned.
“Kyrgyzstan is our reliable friend, a time-tested ally, and an important trade partner. Our joint work within integration frameworks like the CIS, EAEU, and SCO also drives the positive momentum of our bilateral dialogue at the highest and high levels,” Aleksandr Turchin said.
For his part, the president of Kyrgyzstan highlighted the vast potential for cooperation with Belarus.
Belarus-Kyrgyzstan relations are developing successfully in all areas, with bilateral trade on the rise. An ambitious goal has been set to increase mutual trade to $500 million by 2030.
“Innovative approaches and new growth drivers are required to transition to a new level. Industrial cooperation projects and the development of high-tech manufacturing must play a key role in qualitative growth. Our country stands ready to further expand the presence of Belarusian technologies in Kyrgyzstan,” he said.
